A few things,
before you begin.
Start with what you have.
Make room for what comes next.
What can I bring into Ubimemo?
You can write notes directly or import UTF-8 Markdown (.md and .markdown) and plain text (.txt) files, individually or from a folder. Imports support up to 10 MiB per file, 50 MiB per batch, and 1,000 files. PDF and Word imports aren’t supported yet.
Do imported files stay in sync?
Imports are one-time copies. Changes to the files on your computer won’t change your saved notes. Each new import creates new notes, even when you import the same file again.
How do I find a note again?
Search within a project using a phrase, a few keywords, or the meaning you remember. Results take you back to matching passages in your original notes. If semantic search is unavailable, you can still search by words.
Can I edit my original notes?
Yes. Use the formatted editor for everyday writing, or switch to Markdown to work directly with the source. Saved changes have version history, so you can read earlier versions. For exact Markdown syntax or extensions, use source mode; formatted edits can normalize the formatting.
